Knox Central High School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Our school educates between 900 to 1000 students annually. We, as a faculty, accept the responsibility to enable each student to become productive, well-rounded individuals capable of making a worthy contribution to society. We offer a comprehensive instructional program with a wide selection of academic and technical classes. Students may receive college credit through our Dual Credit and Advanced Placement programs in subjects ranging from Advanced Placement English to Advanced Placement Biology. We are also the recipient of the KY AHED grant which allows us to offer career awareness for Seniors. We offer student job shadowing experiences and work-based learning for seniors, which provides them with real life work experience and responsibilities. We offer a variety of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to develop individual interests.
