Flat Lick
Elementary is a K-6 educational center nestled in the mountains
of Southeastern Kentucky. Our school staff is comprised of one
principal, 21 certified staff members, eight classified staff
members, one part-time counselor, one part-time speech
therapist, one full-time nurse, one Family Resource Center
coordinator and one assistant, three custodians, three cafeteria
personnel, five bus drivers,ten itinerants, and one office
manager. The mission of Flat Lick Elementary is to create
opportunities for our students to be successful by providing a
quality education. This will ensure that all students have an
equal opportunity to become productive, self-sufficient members
of society capable of reaching their goals. We are part of the
Knox County school system and are located approximately eight
miles south of Barbourville on 25E. |
